One of New Zealand’s largest surf lifesaving clubs with nearly 700 members aged 5 to 80. Patrols Pāpāmoa Beach and Pāpāmoa East each summer. Junior Surf Programme for ages 5–13, Rookies (12–13) and competitive surf sports. Consistently in the top 10 nationally for patrol hours and rescues. Bay of Plenty Club of the Year 2023.

  • Pacific Park Holiday Camp - on-site pool for guests only (not public access). Heated outdoor pool within the holiday park complex.

  • Junior Surf - ages 5–13. Introduction to beach and ocean safety, basic surf skills and team activities.
  • Rookies - ages 12–13. Bridge between Junior Surf and senior membership.
  • Competitive surf sports - for ages 10 and up. Board paddling, swimming, beach sprint and ironman events.
