Rain Bar has a dedicated functions area described as an ideal location in the heart of Pāpāmoa. Comfortably seats 35–50 guests indoors, up to 70–80 standing. Set menus, sample menus and pricing options available. Caters from $7 for smaller groups (under 20) to larger bookings with a full enquiry process for functions. The kitchen covers lunch, dinner and canaé menus for events. The most purpose-built food-and-drink function option in Pāpāmoa with dedicated indoor space.

The Island explicitly offers function hire for work shouts, birthday bashes and group events. Pāpāmoa’s own brewpub with the largest beer garden in the Bay of Plenty, wood-fired pizza, Texas-style BBQ and Epic Lager brewed on-site. A relaxed and spacious venue for groups that don’t need a formal dining room. Call to discuss function options.

Pāpāmoa Surf Club offers beachfront venue hire with stunning Pacific Ocean views. Suitable for corporate gatherings, weddings and milestone celebrations. Full venue or half-venue hire available. Licensed bar service provided on-site. Large kitchen available for your chosen caterers (no in-house catering provided). Note: bar service requires at least 4 weeks’ notice to arrange a licence, and all events with a bar must include substantial catering. See their website for full requirements.

Papamoa Beach Resort has a dedicated multipurpose function venue called The Deck, four wedding ceremony locations, and a dedicated group, wedding and conferencing coordinator on-site. Large groups and conferences are a specialty. Also offers dedicated group kitchens on request. One of Pāpāmoa’s most comprehensive event facilities, particularly suited to weddings, multi-day conferences and large celebrations that require on-site accommodation.
