Well known for generous, value-for-money pies, particularly the steak and mushroom. Wheelchair-accessible, with ample seating inside. Open early enough for a pre-work stop. Kneed opened at The Sands town centre and quickly built a local following for its handcrafted approach. Signature doughnuts, sourdough loaves, ciabatta, focaccia, baguettes, gourmet sandwiches, tarts and pies - everything baked from scratch using traditional methods and seasonal ingredients. Smoothies and specialty coffee also served. Best described as the artisan end of Pāpāmoa’s bakery scene. Popular enough that some lines sell out before midday.
