ReDefined Wellbeing Hub at 58 Ashley Place describes itself as New Zealand’s first fully integrated wellbeing centre. Founded by Jimmy August - who trained as a Les Mills personal trainer in Wellington before moving into health club management in London - ReDefined brings movement, specialist health practitioners and recovery technology together under a single roof.
Three dedicated studios run under one membership: Performance (strength and functional training), MindBody (reformer Pilates, yoga and hot yoga) and Movement (group fitness). A Recovery Lab features two saunas, a cold plunge operating at 12–4°C, and compression therapy. The design draws on Blue Zones longevity research, treating recovery as equally important to training.
Allied health practitioners operate on site including physiotherapy through Recharge Physio (ACC-registered), clinical nutrition, DNA health testing and an integrative medicine GP. Classes are booked through the ReDefined app, which shows live availability across all studios.
Class times and availability vary. Check live schedules on the ReDefined app or website before visiting.
